Beauty: Prom Season, Pt. 2

Many girls treat themselves to a spa day the day of prom. This is fantastic as it can help you relax and leave you glowing. Among the popular services are facials, body scrubs, tanning and massages. I would advise against getting any skin treatment (facial, body scrub, tanning) that you have never had done before the day of prom. An allergic reaction is the last thing you want to deal with on that day. If you want to try something new, schedule your appointment for a week before prom just in case you have an adverse reaction.

Now, a list of what to carry in your evening purse: lipstick, powder compact or blotting tissues, and a purse size perfume to freshen up. Blotting tissues may be better than a powder compact when combating oil. Powder will just build up when all you want to get rid of is excess shine. Use powder sparingly though, because most likely you will be sweating at some point while dancing and powder and sweat do not mix well.

The most important beauty item on that day is a good attitude. Have a great time!
